October 2024

September does mark the last month of Summer Maintenance packages, and the start of fall Services. Lawns are already looking a bit better as the nights cool and we’ve seen more rain, but watering is still important to ensure long-term health and finish out the season with a lawn that is ready for winter. Late PM or early AM waterings are still best, but how much water is needed is dependant on sun exposure and other factors. As always, we recommend watering DEEP, as in 30-45 minutes per sprinkler/location/lawn, and doing that atleast 3x per week depending on the condition of the lawn.
We are working to implement some new fertilizers and techniques for Fall fertilizations, standard fertilizations are included within Summer Maintenance packages. We have noticed that some lawns needed higher concentrations of nutrients, and not all lawns are responding to fertilizations the same, so we have been working to find new options that can be suited to each lawns needs. How we do Fertilizations may change in 2025 season entirely.
We still HIGHLY recommend Fall Aerations and Soil Enhancements, but again remind that those are separate from standard packages and have a separate fee. We feel these Services are always beneficial to long-term health of the lawns, but are asking for your REQUESTS instead of sending new Estimates to every client. Please let us know if you have interest in additional Services and we will prepare an Estimate for you.
Winter Maintenance quotes have been sent, and likely includes essential Services like Sprinkler Blow-Outs and heavier fall yard clean-ups, but also may include optional or recommended Services like Eavestrough Clean-Outs.
