Property Maintenance Schedule
January-February
Heaviest months for Snow Removal. Wind Drift and Ice Management routes in full effect, Check-Up routes conducted outside of Snowfall Events. Holiday Decorations all removed and stored by January 30th. Minor yard cleanings and eavestrough/downspout maintenance when weather allows.
March
Begin Shrub Trimmings and Bed Maintenance as Snow Removal season ends(continue with Snow Removal as long as needed). Begin with spring Property Cleanings and early season Weeding if possible. Check eavestroughs and downspouts for clean functionality.
April-May
Start of Lawn Mowing and Maintenance, while still ready for sudden Snow. Complete Edgings and Bed Re-Toppings. Once dry enough, begin lawn Power Rakings, Core Aerations and first Fertilizations. Complete Pressure Washings and Window Cleanings in late May-early June.
June-August
Regular maintenance and lawn mowing Services. Property visits every 7-14 days depending on package needs. WEED CONTROL ONLY property visits 1x per month. Lawns are fertilized every 5 weeks following first application. Edges and shrubs are maintained every 6-8 weeks during growing season.
September
Wind down of Summer Maintenance Services. Final Fertilizations and Weed Control. Final Mows completed in last week of September or extend for 1-2 more cuts dependant on seasonal need. Begin Bed and Perennial clean-ups while also beginning pre-yard clean-ups. Final Shrub Trimmings before fall season starts.
October-December
Irrigation Blow-Outs in early October. Property Clean-Ups and Eavestrough Cleanings once fall season has set in. Snow Removal as needed, Holiday Decorating beginning around November 15th. Snow Removal and Wind Drift/Ice Management in effect every day throughout the winter except December 24-26, 31 and January 1st.
Our Promise and Process

Promise
When you contact S.O.S Exteriors, we will provide you with a quote for requested services ASAP. Many of our basic Maintenance Services like lawn care and snow removal can be Estimated thru GPS and Satellite imaging, so these quotes can usually be provided within 24hrs. We book in Services based on Priority and available scheduling, almost all Services are booked weeks-months in advance, but we usually provide “First Cuts” and high need Services within 7 days.
We will treat your property as if it were our own, providing quality work and ensuring you get top notch Service and Value from us.
While working at your property, we will be observant for other needs and may suggest Services that we feel would improve aesthetics or functionality. We don’t mean to force a large package or Full Maintenance, but recommending Services aligns with our mission to provide you with Peace of Mind and free you from exterior yard work!
We uphold Client Satisfaction but also know our Services may not be right for everyone, which means we will either do what’s right for you or make sure we put you in touch with someone who can!
Process
After your first inquiry, we will respond within 24hrs with a basic Introduction email to give you further insight into the next steps and how we operate! Then depending on the inquiry, Estimates for basic lawn care or snow removal are usually sent by email within a few hours if we can measure using Satellite & GPS imaging. If a property visit or consultation is required for closer inspection or larger projects, we will book that into our schedule within 3 business days and gather any needed information during that consultation. Once that consultation is complete you will receive your full quote within 24hrs.
Lawn Mowing and Snow Removal are generally recommended to fall within our “Property Protection Maintenance” packages which is part of the introductory email. These packages are customizable and meant to suit you and your property needs. First visits are usually conducted within 7 days depending on Service Priority/Need.
Landscape and Fencing projects are scheduled on available timelines, which may be 3-4 months depending on seasonal time of inquiry, we take Project Bookings for 1-2 years in advance when scheduling requires such.

S.O.S Exteriors currently offers Maintenance Technician positions and Project Technician positions.FIELD Positions). Technicians have the ability to make above industry average pay for meeting Customer Service and Quality expectations along with production rates. Team Leader and Management positions are to become available to allow for internal career growth of Field Technicians.
