Winter is still trying to stick around but we’ve been able to get an early start in on Spring / Summer work!
Shrub Trimmings, Yard Clean-Ups and Power Rakings have been going strong! The poor weather these last couple days has held us up, but we are on track to have most Spring services completed by the end of April! We’ve even started in on Mowing as the early season has caused some lawns to get a jump start.
We used the natural rain/snow moisture to get a few properties fertilized over the last couple days, just the properties NOT doing Soil Enhancements or Aerations and that don’t get a lot of water.. We will be starting the rest of our Soil Enhancements/Fertilizations on FRIDAY so please make sure you are able to water your lawns afterwards if you are receiving this service!
Aerations, Soil Enhancements and some other “late” request spring work is likely to carry into May. We are used to having most of our May full of spring work though so we definitely know we’ve gotten an early start! Maintenance will continue as per usual, the first couple mows may be spread further apart but then we will get back to the 7-10 day schedule, whatever your property may need.
Please also be aware that we will be leaving lawn clippings behind a little more often this year, as we feel this will be good protection and food for the lawns against the potential hot and dry summer ahead.
We do our next round of Soil Enhancements in late June/early July, and you will be asked to confirm about adding that on to the applicable month’s Maintenance Invoice.
Landscape and larger projects are now booking for later July, let us know if you’ve got a project you’d like to get on our list! We are running promotions on Water Features and Water Storage options, as well as turf removal landscape projects.
