June 2024

As per usual the weather is the main topic of conversation lately! Our schedules were definitely full before the rain, and now we are admittedly behind and working hard to get back on track in the coming weeks. On that note, most of our regular maintenance properties have been completed with their full Spring packages though, so now will be moving into regular Mow and Weed Control visits. Chemical applications are basically useless in the rain, so we are hoping for some better weather to complete treatments soon.

We need the moisture! So we won’t complain or be angry about the weather, but it certainly causes some stress in our line of work. We need to let lawns dry a little before we can continue a lot of Services, so wet weather affects our schedules for a while even after the rain has stopped as well. The wind has also caused a fair bit of damage, so let us know if you are in need of any repairs.

We do usually find work to keep us busy even during the rain, but it is limited slow work and just helps to alleviate pressure on the schedule ahead of time. Pressure Washing, digging projects, and lawn seedings/fertilizations have kept us busy during the recent storms. We will be looking to complete Eavestrough cleanings and Window Cleanings towards the end of May.

This rain does benefit lawns greatly, especially considering we recently completed basic and advanced fertilization’s at all properties. We do our next round of Soil Enhancements in late June/early July.
