Summer Maintenance Invoice
August 2025
It’s been a fairly wet few weeks out here for the S.O.S crews,
and we hope you’ve been making the best of your summer so
far
We are super grateful for all the rain, our weather has been
generally dry these last few years so the rain has been appreciated and very good for the outdoor plants and spaces. We were used to seeing heavier rain patterns from April through June in past years, but that had been very minimal and now this year we’ve received lots of moisture in June and July.
So far the forecasts say more rain on the way! Although when the rain comes like it
has, spotty and random, we are forced to maintain our schedules to the best of abilities which means sometimes we are working in the rain and other times we are forced to delay visits until things are dry enough. We use the best judgement we can based off changing forecasts and what we are actually observing on a day to day basis.. We usually try to avoid schedule changes, so we continue with schedules as planned until we cannot work on the day of rain, or lawns/properties are just too wet to handle working.

Despite the wet weather, we are seeing the hot days close in on us already too! A large
part of the strong growing season we’ve had so far is contributed from the rain but also paired with the 30 above sunny days we’ve had around the rain storms. These days are encouraging the growth of all plants, and the rain is ensuring most are getting fresh water. Watering schedules will still be important as the rain slows down, as we can expect the heat to settle in more as we get into August.

We’ve wrapped up window cleanings and pressure washings, but Eavestroughs have been a common service again this year as the spring brought lots of seeds and small debris from the trees, and the heavy rains have lead to back-ups and clogging. Please do let us know if you need help with your Eavestroughs!
We will soon be starting another round of fertilizations! Most properties were fertilized in June, so as we close July we will be looking to give another dose before the heat waves set in. We highly recommend our Soil Enhancements treatment for best protection against the hot weather ahead! If you’d like a Soil Enhancement treatment, please reach out. Some packages do have these treatments included. Standard Granular fertilizer is included with Maintenance packages, but Soil Enhancements are NOT included within most general packages and should appear as a separate line item on Invoices.
Thanking you as always for your time and business!
